In our immersion course for therapists, you will gain knowledge about this. You will learn about the empirical basis for deliberate practice and you will be shown different ways of integrating the method into your therapeutic model. The immersion course is held by Vidar Husby and Luca Rossi, lic. Psychologists, certified deliberate practice supervisors, co-founders of the International Deliberate Practice Society (IDPS), and part of the international front in this field.

Across therapy models
Deliberate practice is not tied to a therapeutic model. What you learn can be used by therapists who use e.g. Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Affect Phobia Therapy (APT) and other models.

Adaptation
DP supervisors Rossi and Husby have supervised therapists with a wide variety of theoretical orientations and clinical settings. They have a lot of experience in successfully adapting the workshop content to the specific setting, orientation and needs of the therapists they work with.
