My name is Dan Sacks, I am an Israeli Psychologist and certified Deliberate Practice coach. I will be hosting May’s bi-monthly Practice-Meetup (immediately after the Annual General Meeting). During our practice, we will focus on the skill of asking open-ended questions to promote the therapeutic process. Open-ended questions are a part of all therapy models, as they tend to be more emotionally evocative and allow clients to see new perspectives on situations.
As with all skills, also in the questions we ask, we tend to become entrenched in habits. May’s practice meetup will focus on breaking the boundaries of habits as we help each other incorporate new types of questions into our therapeutic language. This will be achieved through a group DP exercise as well as one-on-one work.
My main goals for the meetup are to combine high-quality practice with an opportunity to meet like-minded professionals and hopefully make new connections. Hard work can also be fun!
